SLAMABAD: The Supreme Court Registrar Office has returned the government’s review petition challenging the judicial order to transfer Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan to a hospital, raising administrative objections over incomplete documentation.
According to sources, the Registrar Office flagged that the review petition was submitted without complete paper books. The petition will be re-filed once the administrative and procedural deficiencies highlighted by the registrar are fully addressed.

The development follows a Supreme Court directive issued two days prior, ordering Imran Khan’s transfer to Shifa International Hospital for medical treatment. However, the relocation has not yet been executed.
Subsequently, the Chief Commissioner Islamabad, through the Advocate General Islamabad, filed a review petition seeking a reconsideration of the apex court’s order, which has now been returned for correction.
