Several BYC Leaders Shifted to Civil Lines Police Station; Families Denied Access

Islamabad – In a concerning development, multiple leaders of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), including prominent activist Dr. Mahrang Baloch, have reportedly been moved from Hudda Jail to the Civil Lines Police Station. Sources confirm that Dr. Mahrang, along with activists Beebow and Gulzadi, are currently detained at the station, while the whereabouts of three male BYC leaders remain unknown.

The Civil Lines Police Station has been completely sealed off, and family members are being denied access to the detainees, raising fears of potential mistreatment or torture.

Rights groups and concerned citizens have urged authorities to allow legal and family access, and called for transparency regarding the health and safety of the detained individuals.
