Muhammad Mamoon Khan, a native of Mianwali and currently living in Lahore, has been allocated to the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) after qualifying the Central Superior Services (CSS) examination.

Coming from a semi-government schooling background, Mamoon’s achievement is a story of perseverance and hard work. Despite facing financial challenges and having no family support, he built his academic foundation from scratch and went on to earn several international qualifications.

Mamoon holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification and is pursuing an MBA from the University of London. He described his CSS journey as both challenging and transformative.

He said that the CSS exam tested not only knowledge but also endurance and adaptability. According to him, CSS is multidimensional and provides many opportunities to serve society, while PSP allows officers to deliver justice directly to the people.

Mamoon is currently working in the United Kingdom as a People Services and Finance Lead, a senior role in management and finance.

He added that many people around him were surprised by his success, as they never expected him to excel academically. “It was a genuine shock for my competitors and rivals,” he said with a smile.

Mamoon’s journey from a modest background in Mianwali to a prestigious post in the PSP reflects the power of determination, self-discipline, and resilience. His success is an inspiration for young Pakistanis who aim to overcome social and financial barriers in pursuit of public service.
