ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has warmly welcomed US President Donald Trump’s endorsement and congratulations regarding the historic Makkah Joint Defense Agreement signed between Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan.

In a statement shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that he deeply appreciates President Donald Trump’s supportive remarks for the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan stands shoulder-to-shoulder with its brotherly Islamic nations, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, and will continue to play a constructive role in ensuring regional defense, peace, and security. He added that the alliance between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye is vital for sustainable peace in the region—a fundamental guarantee for the prosperity and bright future of its people.
