During the journey of 2019 some concepts were unknown for me, like social distancing, mask mandates, lockdowns, due to prevailing situation of pandemic globally, were un-known to most of us. Today without these concepts life has become difficult to live, because they are part of everyday language and routine as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact all aspects of our lives.

In the beginning of 2020 Researcher reported cluster of cases of a deadly flu-like disease in Wuhan, China that seemed—to Americans at least—to be somebody else’s problem.
Here’s no doubt about it, 2020 has been a year like no other.
And while many of us will be thankful to see it come to a close, this year has been a game changer for digital-first experiences.
This year was filled with great observations and new discoveries, like finding water on the sunlit surface of the moon.

It was a weird year, culturally. There was a lot of Netflix; more than usual, because of all the things they picked up. There was little reading or new melody for us, because I found myself so restless it was hard to settle down and simply read or listen. I thought about now skipping the thought that I could ever combine the word “magnificent” with the four digits “2020.”

People lost their loved ones during this pandemic. This year would be remaining much painful for those globally, with story of mourning, but it has been a story of organization too.
Not since World War II has a single phenomenon dominated the news worldwide as the COVID-19 pandemic has in 2020.
What 2020 became was a series of rolling disasters—. But in the midst of the tragedies there was courage, there was grace, there was sacrifice, there was hope—there were people faced with the very worst rising up to be their very best.

2020 was burning to those who already have the least. At first about COVID-19 it was told that it would not discriminate but as COVID-19 spread it became clearer that having low income, being a member of marginalized group, are “co-morbidities” factors which make people more likely to die.

Then pandemic created hunger crisis, missed some funerals, missed marriage parties, missed friends meet ups,leaving hundreds of millions of people already struggling people without the earnings to feed their families. It created educational crises, too. United Nations children’s agency UNICEF found that a third of the world’s schoolchildren-463 million children globally –had no such remote learning “when COVID-19 shuttered their schools.

Community with all such crisis is also facing many disruptions in this pandemic period, like dysfunctional families, abusive environment and increment %age of drop-out rates. Due to twice closuring of school in a year has created situation and environment of uncertainty not only in parents and care-givers also in students. As research for me it is alarming obsession to be noticed by the top educational authorities.

Soon after discovering viable vaccines exist, we learned that economical strong countries had pro-booked almost all the initial supply and that outdated rules on “intellectual property” could prevent the mass simultaneous production of vaccines for all in 2021.
2020 was generous to those who already had the most. Whilst at first it was imagined that no one could possibly gaining such a disaster, it’s now been shown to have made the rich richer: the U.S.’s651 billionaire have gained over $1 trillion with Amazon Jeff Bezos alone gaining over $70billion.

So what does this mean for 2021?

The pessimistic story says that inequality is now in an out-of –control spiral: that governments will be unable to fund core service or look after the unemployed; that online retail monopolies will be the only thriving business; that an underclass of the uninsured, unvaccinated, offline and out –of-work will be kept from the gates of the working –from home by a new cohort of private gates.

The optimistic story says that it is in crisis that inequality has been turned around-

At the end of the day, all you need is hope and strength. Hope it will get better and strength to hold on until it Dose. Life is not about miseries, pain, rain, storms to pass, it’s about learning to behave in pain. Be strong now because things will get better .it might be stormy now but it cannot rain forever. Trust the Almighty and keep going. Thank the Almighty for everything you have and every trouble you don’t have because He kept them away from you. Many out there are struggling to survive in this difficult time. YOU will never be able to count all your blessings so the least is to thank upon all conditions!
