1. Giving specific time for opinion building.

I heard that your writing skills will automatically improve as you write a lot during CSS preparation. However, you don’t just need good English for CSS, you need good opinions.

What I did: Exclusive 1-1.5 hours2.

2.Choosing CSS-specific readings

Technically you will be using English to communicate with the examiner in CSS. Therefore, wouldn’t it be logical to learn it from a specific source? (Academic)

What I did: I used newspaper (DAWN) articles to improve vocabulary and expressions for opinion writing.

3. Followed an exercise for article rewriting.

This is what I use to do:

a. When I read an article I write every new word and expression to a separate book ( not cramming)

b. Then I write a small paragraph answering the question: Do you agree with the claims of the writer?

4. Including new words in my writing.

Let’s be logical here. You can never improve your writing skills if you focus on cramming.

What I did: I used one new word daily in my writing. Seems too much? Well if you do this with 10 words, you will end up having at least 2-3 new ones

5. Practice it consistently

There is no shortcut when it comes to learning a new language and consistency is the key.

My advice: Try to do this activity for a month and you will see magical results. ( most of the words and expressions start repeating in the newspaper)

6. Getting evaluations

I cannot stress this enough. Where you will be improving your English with the given activities, if you don’t get feedback, you will end up consolidating your mistakes.
