Seminar on “Language of the Qur’an” Held at Superior University Lahore

Lahore (Special Correspondent): A scholarly seminar on the theme of “Language of the Qur’an” was organized by the Chaudhry Abdul Khaliq Centre for Contemporary Islamic Sciences at Superior University Lahore.

The seminar commenced with an impactful address by respected Mufti Saleem Raza, who highlighted the valuable services of the institution and warmly welcomed and thanked the esteemed guests and all participants.

During the event, students showcased their talents by presenting naats, dialogues, and short speeches in Arabic, which were highly appreciated by the audience.

Following this, Mr. Muhammad Farooq Siddique (Outreach and Engagement Manager, Islamic Center CAKCIS) delivered a comprehensive talk on the significance of the Arabic language and its promising future, while also extending his gratitude to the institution and the organizers.

The keynote address was delivered by the guest of honor, Mr. Usman Ayub (Head of the Arabic Language Department, Academy of Languages and Professional Development, The University of Lahore), who spoke eloquently on the topic of “Language of the Qur’an.” He elaborated on the importance and benefits of the Arabic language and addressed common misconceptions about learning Arabic in an intellectual manner.

Towards the conclusion of the seminar, a heartfelt request was made for prayers for the Muslim Ummah, particularly the people of Palestine, Kashmir, and all oppressed individuals around the world.

Finally, honorary shields were presented to the distinguished guests on behalf of the organizing institution.
