Targeted assassination plot against Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat President Allama Aurangzeb Farooqi; all programs canceled, security tightened.

Amid the recent wave of terrorism in the country, where scholars and religious figures are being targeted, security agencies have issued a security threat alert for the central president of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat Pakistan, Allama Ghazi Aurangzeb Farooqi.

According to the alert, intelligence reports indicate that the leadership of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat is being targeted by terrorists, and specifically, surveillance of Allama Aurangzeb Farooqi has been completed, with preparations to target him already finalized.

According to the spokesperson of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat Karachi Division, Maulana Umar Muawiya, considering this entire situation, the central and divisional council has, through mutual consultation, decided to cancel all programs of Allama Aurangzeb Farooqi. Additionally, during Eid-ul-Fitr, all meetings with Allama Farooqi will be prohibited.
