Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, along with a high-level delegation, visited Roza-e-Rasool ﷺ in Madinah and offered voluntary prayers (Nawafil) at Riaz-ul-Jannah. The Prime Minister specially prayed for the progress, prosperity, peace, and security of the country and the nation.
Upon arriving in Madinah, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid his respects at the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid-e-Nabwi ﷺ) and had the privilege of a special pilgrimage to the Holy Prophet’s Tomb. During the visit, the Prime Minister offered prayers for the well-being of the Pakistani nation and the entire Muslim Ummah.
Religious Observances at Masjid-e-Nabwi:
During the visit, the Prime Minister offered voluntary prayers (Nawafil) at Riaz-ul-Jannah inside Masjid-e-Nabwi ﷺ and spent spiritual moments there. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.

Prior to arriving in Madinah, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and the high-level Pakistani delegation performed Umrah in Mecca.
Umrah Performance and Diplomatic Significance:
Before performing Umrah, the Prime Minister, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and other delegation members had the privilege of a special visit to the Holy Kaaba, where they offered worship and spent spiritual moments praying for the nation.
This visit is regarded as highly significant in the context of the close fraternal relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, where top leadership engaged in religious duties while praying for mutual blessing, peace, and stability.
