NEW YORK, September 23, 2026 Global digital identity and digital public infrastructure expert Tariq Malik has been named among the DPI 50, a new global list recognizing 50 leaders shaping the development and responsible use of Digital Public Infrastructure around the world.

The recognition was announced yesterday in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meetings.

The DPI 50 has been launched by Apolitical, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on GovTech and Digital Public Infrastructure, bringing global attention to leaders working to build digital infrastructure that is inclusive, trusted and capable of delivering public value.

The recognition marks Malik’s second major global distinction in 2026. Earlier this year, he was named to Okta’s Identity 25, which recognizes 25 leaders and innovators shaping the future of digital identity.
