Associated Challenges & Hurdles in Their Way
We do not have to crush the heads of men to make progress in life, on the contrary, we have to make progress in life by living alongside men, we are not asking for our share in the society;
Rather, we want to play a role in the welfare of society through our hard work & determination & would like to submit our share in society through honesty dignity & courage.
Any organized society cannot achieve the stages of development and success without the positive participation of women in society
The woman is a mother, daughter, sister, and wife, and whenever she goes out of the house to earn money, her thinking is that she will collaborate with men to share the responsibilities of life.
If a woman is obliged to go out of the house under compulsion and to earn a living, then she should also get a place in the society that a man has already, she too should have all the rights that society gives to a man professional.
Pakistan is now moving towards 21st century but our cultural disparity is making Pakistani women invisible in job Market, Pakistan’s female population is to be estimated approx 48.65% of the total population of the country, its clearly indicate that there are 105 men for 100 women of Pakistan, so women are capturing a wide proportion for them in Pakistani society, but unfortunately they are still struggling for their true rights,
Here true rights should be defined clearly;
As a Muslim female, we are already availing our true rights in society, but when a woman crosses the four walls of the home to make money outside, many of her comforts turn into reservations; a woman is somehow weaker biologically she always need comfort in her surroundings; but when we work with man in the same society; nobody consider her comforts at the job area, they are treating same just as a male employee, same seats, same environment, same job timings, side by side salary discrimination at the same grade, with same workload no promotions;
The government should apply the different criteria for female professionals, they have to evaluate differently because they are not mostly happily fix at their job places, sometime compulsions & needs bring them out from home, so we have to respect & care the woman that she crushes the shell of comfort only for her family, kids, parents, & husband.
Pakistani society is a male-dominated society where women are the center of attention and life but this society also considers women as no more than secondary citizens, because most of the people think that they are less beneficial for society but on the other hands she works hard quietly without any demands & display, Majority of Pakistani women belong to the rural areas, who work in the fields & in the industrial centers, they are really poor & illiterate, they are really facing hardships to work in long hours which are very annoying & for which there is neither compensation nor recognition for them, mostly they bear the housework & professional burden at the same time, it is a dream for them to relax somewhere, they always gives up her rights & share in food, happiness, liberty, enjoyments, leisure, & in important decision making, mostly women are suffering from psychological disorders, anemia & malnutrition, but they still spend their entire lives yearning for something to give, if they get timely acknowledgments they can work beyond their powers,
Pakistani Rural & Urban female workforce both have same dreams of life, the basic right of every human being is to dream & fulfill his/her dreams, as Muslim female our women are well aware regarding their norms & values of society, they are highly motivated & energetic to make their dreams come true, however, over the years scenario has changed & awareness of women abilities & their rights & her status has reached to every street of Pakistan but still, Pakistani woman life is a wreck, because there is still a lot of work that needs to be done to change the mindset of the society of Pakistan, we as a nation is responsible to empower women of Pakistan, not only for their personal growth of life also for the growth of successful society.
By Birth male & female both are physically different from each other, we all know the man has more physical power then a female & this is the Almighty Allah organization, here we are not talking about gender equality, as it’s very clear we have differences between both genders but here we would like to talk about gender equality at the workplace, why we need gender equality especially at the workplace, because every year, lots of women in Pakistan are harassed by their male co-workers, accordance to research more than 70 percent women are harassed at their workplaces every day in Pakistan,they are facing sexual harassment, aggression harassment, Harassment of Women at Workplace Bill signed in 2010 to secure women rights but still no implementation, at many places due to family respect & financial burden of families women are silent to raise this issue in Pakistan, at many stages male co-workers take over the female initiated projects in offices, don’t let them proceed with their perfect working & the element of jealously highlighted among them, due to this female worker faced problems like the withholding of promotions & even demotion, if they refused to fulfill the demands of officers, we are not only raising the point of sexual harassment here, just remember man can never see a woman like a strong tree in front of him at workplaces because this affects their manly ego always, I have never seen a single office in Pakistan that women are being given full opportunists, I wish I could see that day too in Pakistan.
Here I would assure you that Pakistani woman is more qualified, sensible like a man of Pakistan but if we groom them technically with education, take my words they will equally perform well like men.
The big achievement of Women, if we not mentioned here that will be unfair, Pakistani women are now part of UN peacekeeping mission Women are deployed in all areas such as police, military and civilian, have made a positive impact on peacekeeping environments, both in supporting the role of women in building peace and protecting women’s rights. Approximately 100,000 peacekeeper women are the part of this mission & Pakistani woman is also showing her presentation around the world in very good manner & also proved that they can perform a vital role with the same enthusiasm, energy, responsibility under all difficult conditions like Pakistani male, & we are proud on them.
I would like to request Government to introduce technical grooming programs free of cost during their education period (in schools, colleagues & universities) just to increase the confidence of Pakistani women, and it must be declared compulsory during their studies, side by side provide them sexual harassment protection in every aspect of life, I have a small suggestion for government to create small teams in towns, cities, sectors, villages, in localities, to monitor, if any kind of injustices is happening with them, because after all, we are woman, we need shadow & approval of society to accelerate in life in a good manner.
