We are in state of perpetual delusion or perpetual depression, depends which side of moral or political spectrum one stands. If there will be a forward block in PTI or PMLN, only beneficiary of this political manufacturing is PMLQ or Choudries of Gujrat. It’s not a matter of take it or leave it anymore. Imran has started flexing his political muscle by refusing to change KP and Punjab CMs. And those trying to change them have been fired or have spent some time in NAB custody.
You mess with Imran he will be more lethal than Nawaz. By the way stop thinking about revolution, even Imran is not capable or willing to bring one. He has learned to make deals and that’s what behaviour modification power brings. If you want to arrest a revolutionary leader or party, best option is to bring him or them in power and rest will be history including him or them. Best recent examples are TTA in Afghanistan and PTI in Pakistan. More serious example is ANC in South Africa, TTA and PTI were manufactured but ANC was organic and spontaneous; history is full of such examples.
So revolution is not an option but may be a new French Revolution, because current one is a Revulsion at best. With inflation and economy at this stage, sense of revulsion can turn into spontaneous revolution. It will suit everyone else except Pakistan or Pakistanis. Let’s see.
Well anyone who was hoping that with 116 seats, PTI could bring revolution; was suffering from eternal optimist or incurable romantic syndrome.
It’s now do or die situation for Imran, in such cases later option has been the norm. Look at Nawaz Sharif, he is dead if not buried already. All the leftist and central Punjabis who were thinking that Nawaz will do it, are now almost apologetically justifying his decision. At least he is alive. What a lame excuse for revolutionary. His daughter and air apprentice Maryam, is waiting to strike a deal, but current Miltablishment is not trusting her, may be next one would. If history is our guide, every Miltablishment needs a breakaway leader once in a while when things go really worse, they do go worse and currently are going bad, worse seems far for now.
Coming back to perpetual state of delusion; forward blocks are perpetual delusions and we always fall for them. Every forward block is sold on the promise of impossible. Impossible are not possible but we buy them anyway. Eternal optimism syndrome.
Thinking about the next impossible selling point; a new economic order sounds good enough for now and Pakistan needs one badly as well. Will it sell; you bet it will. The Bajwa Doctrine. Let’s sell it.
Adds are out already if you were blind enough to see them.
