Here are some highlights of the event…
• Only four from 20 designers showcased men’s clothing that are Deepak N Fahd, Munib Nawaz, Kuki Concepts, and HSY.
• Last year it was more of an eastern prêt collection, but this year there was a contrast in both the ways, as some designers went very western in prêt while others showed more of luxury prêt than prêt even few of them presented some bridal collection on their chosen celebrities.
• Most designers gave their collection a summer look, and choose shades in the hues of white or tangy, while prints were more floral and bohemian style.
• Many models from abroad were also called to give the show an international feel and they they truly shoed their professionalism and carried the eastern attire very well.
As the event as called ‘Hum Show Case: Spring Summer Collection 2018’, we hope that there would be a second installment of ‘Fall/Winter Collection 2018’ in the last quarter of the year. So let’s wait what our designers have in mind for this season’s prêt clothing.
