After 15 glorious years of celebrating Film, Fashion, Television and Music, LUX Style Awards celebrated its 16th year in 2017 in a glamorous evening where the leading stars came together under one roof for a night filled with glamour, energy and entertainment. The LUX Style Awards is the only award show in Pakistan that continues to honor achievements in Film, Fashion, Music and Television all under one umbrella.
The event was started with an Afternoon Tea with LUX where the nominees and key media were invited.
The red carpet was filled with stars coming in their beautiful and up-to-date attires that attracted the media so and the interaction went on for more than two hours.
The show was kicked off by Atif Aslam who paid a patriotic tribute and then introduced himself as the host for the night. His quirky lines, wit and charm enthrall audience that helped in setting the tone for the evening.
Apart from glamour and glitz, the night was also full of exciting performances.New sensation Aima Baig and Mooro entertained the audience with their special performance. This was followed by the gorgeous, elegant and lovable Mahirah Khan who performed with a dash of humor and an allure. The most mesmerizing performance of the night was of the appearance of super star and former LUX diav Reema Kahn with new lux girl Mawra Hocaine which set the stage on fire. Everyone’s favorite Ali Zafar graced the LSA stage yet again, wielding a sword as the mystery girl Maya Ali was unveiled in his magical performance “Ishq”. The audiences were also entertained by the captivating performances by Abid Brohi, Zoe Viccaji, Ali Sethi and Jimmy Khan.
Two new Lux girls; Mawar Hocaine and Maya Ali were also introduced with the existing one Mahira Khan.
Keeping with tradition, the Lux Style Awards were a glittering night with stars and presenters setting the ultra-modern spectacular stage alight with their witty repartee, acceptance and winning speeches and exciting performances.
The show was directed by Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, event managed by Jalal Salahuddin Events and produced by NJ Productions.
The show is scheduled to air on Geo Television.
