Gilgit: Governor Gilgit Baltistan Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan has said that people of Diamer are patriot Pakistanis And demand for a campus of karakuram international university at diamer is their basic need. I am very closely related to diamer district of Gilgit Baltistan. I quash the statement related to me on local newspapers . Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Shareef has approved 13 campuses of KIU which includes diamer and ghizer campus as well. Talking to the 
provincial ministers of gilgit baltistan Haji Janbaz khan, Sobia muqaddam and spokesman faizullah faraq, he said Hunza campus was announced by president of Pakistan before general elections of gilgit baltistan legislative assembly , at that time there was no plan and ground work of ghizer and diamer campuses. I , after becoming governer gilgit baltistan wrote to prime minister as well as HEC regarding the campus for ghizer and diamer districts. As a result now diamer campus has been approved and fund has been given to KIU
. Soon i will call a meeting with members of diamer, secretory education gb and vice chanclor of kiu to solve the issues regarding the campus of diamer.
