One of the pioneers in Pakistani food service in Qatar, Zoaq opened up its outlet at Dolmen Mall Clifton, Karachi with a big bang.
The fine dining venture is already doing well in Doha, Qatar, and now has expanded its reach to the City of Lights.
Zoaq, the only fine dining restaurant in DMC, exudes an innovative spirit that can be felt from the moment guests step in; interiors have been lavishly done and servers raise the hospitality bar for the ultimate royal experience that one deserves. The 180-seater promises to provide its customers an unmatched dining experience with its signature dishes that have been carefully crafted to maintain the essence of the brand that Zoaq is and bring an experimental blend Middle Eastern and Pakistani flavours.
The view of much of Karachi can be enjoyed through glass enclosures; needless to say, Zoaq offers an ambience unlike any other eatery transporting one to a whole new place as soon as one enters.
The dine-in opened its doors for a grand launch and food tasting during which guests were served with barbeque items, biryani and handi, along with fresh naans and, later, gulab jamuns. The seamless menu was devised by Qatari chefs, who could be seen hustling and bustling through the glass counter, to provide unprecedented gustatory pleasure to everyone, alike.
Speaking at the occasion, CEO Zaoq Mr Ammar Hussain said, “Zaoq restaurants have always paved the way to unique and different experiences. Our journey began in Doha where we introduced genuine Pakistani cuisine to the masses who had never been exposed to our local cuisine. Our next endeavour was to introduce the concept of fine dining in a mall setting; it was an instant success that surpassed even our own expectations. Our journey now continues to Karachi, where we intend to bring in the revolutionary idea of having our local cuisine in a five-star ambiance.”
The event was attended by media personalities, food critics and socialites.
