Pond’s Miracle Journey has announced the selection of ten new Miracle Mentors for 2016.
As part of the Miracle Journey in 2016, each Miracle Mentor will introduce their selected Miracle Women, with the intention being to identify a dynamic group of 100 Women who are renowned for their extraordinary work in their chosen professions whilst also successfully managing their personal lives.
The Miracle Mentors have been selected for their ability to effortlessly juggle and succeed in being high achievers in their chosen professions and vocations plus fulfill the demands of their families and execute the many social responsibilities in their everyday lives.
Hosted by Adnan Malik, the Pond’s Miracle Journey Launch 2016, was an elegant affair attended by high profile Mentors, and national media.
Shazia Syed, Chairperson and CEO, Unilever Pakistan welcomed the new mentors saying, “The Pond’s Miracle Journey aspires to create an organic movement by paying tribute to a hundred exceptional women who demonstrate excellence in their personal and professional lives. I am confident, that women across Pakistan will benefit from the inspirational stories of the Pond’s Miracle Women.”
The Pond’s Miracle Journey was established in 2014 as a means of celebrating the achievements of women across Pakistan. The core idea behind the movement, designed by global beauty brand Pond’s, was to consistently highlight accomplished Pakistani women who juggle with the demands of their professional careers, balancing their work with their personal lives, day in and day out.
The campaign has been the recipient of the PAS Awards 2015 for the Best in Print category.

Atiqa Lateef: Aatiqa S. Lateef is currently CEO of TAF Foundation, the Byco Groups affiliated philanthropic initiative, Dr. Fehmida Arif: renowned dermatologist and a pioneer of laser technology in Pakistan after practicing in Zurich, Switzerland for 5 years (1994-1999), Naheed Mashooqullah: born and educated in Mumbai, India, is a well-known and honorable architect. Naz Khan: the CFO at Engro Corporation Limited and the CEO of Engro Eximp Agri products, Ronak Lakhani: the chairperson of Special Olympics Pakistan is one of the pioneers of social service, who has been recently awarded the honourable Sitara-e-Imtiaz, for her selfless service to the disabled community of her country, Naila Aladin: the founder and Principal of The Learning Tree, a co-educational school, which started in the year 2000 as a toddler program, and caters to children from preschool till Grade XI, Safinaz Muneer: the co-owner of the internationally acclaimed fashion brand, Sana Safinaz, Samina Ibrahim: a journalist, marketer and a fashion editor, Sana Hashwani: the co-owner of the high end fashion empire Sana Safinaz. Zeba Bakhtiar: a Pakistani film and television actress, producer and director and an activist who has spoken at various platforms about female empowerment, health and education.
