KARACHI: Former Karachi Nazim Mustafa Kamal said on Tuesday that he would announce name of his party on Wednesday.
Speaking to media outside his residence in DHA, Kamal said people from across the country as well as overseas Pakistanis were contacting him to seek his permission to open the office of new party.
“I asked them to wait. I have not granted permission to open offices of the party yet,” he said, adding that the offices would be opened keeping in view the situation.
“I asked them to spread our message. We have to unite Pakistan. People are divided on the basis of their political affiliation. We (Pakistanis) take pride in identifying ourselves as members of a certain political party rather than calling ourselves Pakistanis, he said.
“I ask my followers if you want to join us, then you must learn to respect our political opponents,” he said.
Mustafa Kamal also condemned terrorist attacks in Belgium that killed dozens of people today.
