Advisor to PM, Zafarullah says policy would help ensure social and financial rights of women extending facilities at workplace.
New National Women Empowerment Policy will be announced on the eve of International Women’s Day on Tuesday.
In an inerview Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Human Rights Barrister Zafarullah said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would unveil the policy.
He said the new policy would help ensure social rights of women, financial stability and extend maximum facilities to them at workplace.
Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Internal Affairs, Maryam Aurangzeb said the policy consist of various women friendly initiatives.
She said the government has envisioned making women financially empowered through ensuring their fair representation in every sphere of life.
