In sub-continent, Sufi teachings caused peace and love in society because first of all they purified the hearts of people.
Islahee Jamaat & Aalmi Tanzeem ul Arifeen affiliated of Darbar Hadrat Sultan Bahoo (r.a) organized Annual Melad-e-Mustafa SAWW & Haq Bahoo conference at Jinnah Convention Centre Islamabad. Patron-in-chief Islahee Jamaat & Aalmi Tanzeem ul Arifeen, Hadrat Sultan Muhammad Ali presided over the conference.
While addressing at the conference, Secretary General Islahee Jamaat & Aalmi Tanzeem ul Arifeen Sahibzada Sultan Ahmad Ali said that; we need to edify ourselves on individual as well as at the mass level. Message of religion Islam is linked with the individual as well as with the whole society. Peace of the whole human being and the society depends on individuals’ hearts. The source of Mystic knowledge, knowledge of inner self or eternal knowledge is the essence of Holy Quran. This is not the non-Arabic tradition but its base lies on the Quran and the Sunah, which Holy Prophet SAWW taught to his companions. The root of the word ‘Tasawuf’ (mysticism) are the ‘Ashab-e-Sufa’ and the ‘hadees e Jibrael’ (narration of Jibrael) of Holy Prophet SAWW in which Eman (belief), Islam and Ehsan are explained and the collection of all these three is religion where as Ehsan is linked with observation. Imam Ghazali said that the way of Sufi’s is the best way and their ethics are the best in the universe. Sahibzada Sultan Ahmad Ali further said that the peace, love, forbearance sustained in our societies because of the Sufi’s character because mystics emphasized first on the purification of heart. The stability in this world and the success in the life hereafter relies on the awakening of our hearts because Quran says that a person could not find the right path if his heart is locked in darkness and this is the reason of destitute in both the worlds. At the day of judgement we will be asked about the peaceful heart therefore we need to focus on both inner-self and outer-self.
Alhaj Muhammad Nawaz Alqadri during his speech said that, today we need to recognize the true reality of our inner-self. We need to awaken our body as well as our inner self so that peace could penetrate in our hearts and through this peace, peace in the society could be accomplished. Teachings of Sufis take s out of wars, fight and extremism and lead to peace and stability.
