Earth is home to millions of Species but only humans are a disaster to its extent. Why is that? Did you think of it ever?
Man cut Mother Nature:
Man cut down mother nature and reshaped them into eco – destructive housing societies. Carbon emission is a thing we never cared about – It is not stopping to rise and humankind receives gifts of this careless rise in the shape of high and uncertain temperatures, floods, and storms.
Water Wastage – Upcoming Water Crisis:
Due to the melting of glaciers, our sea levels are rising and scientists are in the view that countries like the Maldives will be hidden from earth’s surface in the next couple of years. Scientists are also giving warnings and predicting the next wars will be on the water crisis. So what should be done individually or socially to save water? We should stop wasting water and make water reservoirs to store water but our governments are not taking this matter seriously, are we serious about water issues?
Lethal Gases in the Air Causing Living Beings die:
We are in an industrial era that fulfills our needs but these industries are causing lethal gas emissions which is a threat to our atmosphere. So the pollution level is getting higher day by day and causing smog-like problems in countries like Pakistan. Governments are not taking the environmental problem seriously which is the cause of many diseases in humans and other species.
Need to Focus on Environment Policies:
In third world countries like Pakistan, it is becoming a serious threat to human lives. There is no policy to stop the emissions of lethal gases from industries. Industries are also responsible for throwing their waste in lakes, sea, and rivers. Do you know that the same water is further used for agricultural purposes? Industries are not using filtration units to filter gases and waste materials which are dangerous for human health. There should be a focus on it to make some constructive policies to make our industries more eco-friendly.
Government – Media – People Should Also be the Part:
It is not only government but public awareness programs that should be observed to teach the public about threats due to climate change on this planet. Environmental science should be made compulsory for students at the school level and there be programs launched with the help of the government to plant trees in forests. The government should ban the use of agriculture or forest land for housing and industrial purposes.
